Part-time Instrumental and General Music Teacher, Grades 4 - 8

 

Kraybill Mennonite School is seeking a part-time (50% to 60%) music teacher for the 2023-24 school year. The responsibilities include:

  • Teaching music classes for grades 4 - 8

  • Weekly individual and small group instrumental lessons (including guitar and piano)

  • Directing an instrumental ensemble

  • Collaborating with another music teacher to prepare various concerts/programs throughout the year

 

There is a possibility for dividing the PK - 8 general classes differently, depending on the strengths of the candidate.

We are seeking an individual who has a passion to share the love of music with students, is committed to living out faith in an Anabaptist perspective, and creates a positive and collaborative learning environment. The candidate should possess instrumental proficiency in brass and woodwinds (strings preferred, but not necessary) and have basic piano and guitar skills.
